Table of Contents

Speaking of Vietnamese food, we have to mention Vietnamese spring rolls and fried spring rolls. Fried spring rolls are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside after deep-frying that contain minced meat, fungus, and winter noodles inside.

Vietnamese raw spring rolls are made by cutting pig skin into thin strips, dried in the sun and rolled into rice cake wrappers and wrapped with lettuce and rice noodles. These authentic Vietnamese dishes can be found at Da Nang Bep Cuon restaurant found.

When we arrived at the restaurant, there were so many tourists from all over the world waiting in line and we had to wait for about 30 minutes

The weather in Da Nang, Vietnam is basically hot, but it is cool at night, so it is okay to have a seat at outdoor table. They also have seats on the second floor, which is indoor seat.

The layout of the restaurant has a strong local Vietnamese style.

Dish

There were four of us in the restaurant, so we started by ordering the restaurant’s signature popular set menu, which included Vietnamese raw spring rolls(Gỏi cuốn), fish paste fried spring rolls(Chả giò), shrimp paste fried wontons(Bánh Nem Tôm), pork skewers(Xiên Que Nướng), assorted Vietnamese pancakes(Banh Xeo), and a Virgin Mojito.

Banh Xeo

Banh Xeo is a Vietnamese pancake that is very crispy. First of all, You need to put Vietnamese rice paper on the outermost layer, secondly put the pancake on it, thirdly it on various vegetables, fourthly roll it up, fifthly you can dip it in the sauce and eat it.

In the first place, we didn’t know how to eat this dish, so we asked the waiter to demonstrate it to us

⚫️ Banh Xeo

Bún Chả

Bún Chả (The upper right corner in the photo)is a dish including barbecue, rice noodles, dipping sauce soup (Vietnamese fish sauce), lettuce and pickled papaya slices. This is a traditional dish originating from the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, which Obama served when he visited Hanoi Eat this local snack.

Mixed fried food

Mixed fried foods are including Vietnamese raw spring rolls(Gỏi cuốn), fish paste fried spring rolls(Chả giò), shrimp paste fried wontons(Bánh Nem Tôm), pork skewers(Xiên Que Nướng)

What impressed me most about this dish was the shrimp paste fried wontons(Bánh Nem Tôm) that is different from the fried wontons in Taiwan. The texture of the dough is crispy and breaks into pieces when you bite it. It is delicious, not greasy, and the filling is very full. You can taste the shrimp particles and the rich seafood flavor. All I can say is that it’s really delicious.

Beef rice noodles: What I pay most attention to in rice noodles is the soup. I like the aroma of the soup very much, and the light and sweet taste. However, pho is quite basic in Vietnam, which is hard to find something that doesn’t taste good! But when I was at the resort, I ate the pho in the breakfast buffet, which that one is the soup that I didn’t like the soup.

I would give this restaurant full marks! The food is compelling and clean, every dip is delicious, and the staff are always helpful showing how to roll banh. The meal price is very cheap, the average cost per person of four of us is VND$170,000, which is about NT$200. It is worth recommending to food lovers like me.

If you come to Da Nang, don’t miss this restaurant‼
